It is in 1962 that Mr. Jean-Claude Paquette acquired
Abbotsford Nursery in which he leads successfully. Later
his two sons joined the venture to make it a family operated
business.In recent years the heading trio consists of Jean-Claude,
his son Pierre who manages wholesale with production and Pierre
Choquette who occupies administrative and the retail division.

Since four decades, Abbotsford Nursery specializes in the
production of trees, shrubs conifers grown in both field and
container. In all we can count 1200 varieties but recently
we added a wide range of roses as well as hundreds of perennials.
Presently of the 65 hectares of land, 45 hectares are designated
for field production and the remaining 20 hectares is for
500,000 plants container grown.

For such a large scale production it is obvious that a small
family cannot supply the demand of all Quebec , Ontario and
the north eastern part of the United states, therefore during
peak season Abbotsford Nusery is bustling with 150
experienced employees.
